Tunisian international Naïm Sliti has announced his retirement from international football after a 10-year career with the Carthage Eagles. Sliti was one of the mainstays of the Tunisian national team, along with Youssef Msakni and Wahbi Khazri, who retired last December and joined the current coaching staff under coach Jalel Kadri. The player, who has participated in over 80 international matches and scored nearly 15 goals for the Tunisian national team, excelled as a skilled dribbler in the attacking line and on the wing. Sliti (33 years old) said: "I believe that it is now time to make way for the new generation, the youth."
