Tunisian athlete Walid Ktilia has become an icon of success and determination, winning the Mohammed bin Rashid Award for Sports Creativity. His story is one of resilience and overcoming challenges. Despite his disability and initial obstacles, he achieved great success in sports. Ktilia is a world and Paralympic champion in the T34 wheelchair racing class. He has won 6 gold and 3 silver medals at the Paralympic Games in London, Rio de Janeiro, Tokyo, and Paris. He is one of the symbols of the Fizaa International Championship for para-athletics, having participated in it since its first edition in 2009.
