The President of Tunisia, Kais Saied, called for the amendment of the Central Bank Law, which fueled concerns about possible government interference in the judiciary.
It should be noted the President's words: "I have always said that the law on the Central Bank needs to be amended. It needs to be changed to avoid being reserved for the country and the people."
