Tunisia has set a new tourism record, surpassing 11 million visitors for the first time. The Minister of Tourism attributes this success to the sector's resilience and growth. Revenues for the first nine months of the year have reached $41.2 billion.

Tunis has surpassed 11 million tourists for the first time, according to preliminary data announced by Tourism Minister Sofiane Taisia on Monday. In 2024, Tunisia had already welcomed over 3.1 million tourists, a record number in the country's tourism history at that time. Taisia stated that 'the revival of Tunisian tourism is evidence of the sector's ability to develop tourist flows and revenues despite international challenges'. It is noted that sector revenues for the first nine months of this year reached seven billion Tunisian dinars, equivalent to 41.2 billion US dollars. Revenues for the entire year 2024 exceeded 5.7 billion Tunisian dinars (5.2 billion dollars).
