A wedding in Bouhajla, in central Tunisia, turned into a tragedy after a 20-year-old man was killed in a hit-and-run following a family dispute, shocking the attendees. The incident occurred during the wedding of a relative when a dispute broke out between the victim and one of his relatives, which suddenly escalated into a serious attack. According to initial information, the perpetrator deliberately ran over the victim several times with a light truck, causing his death on the spot, to the shock and dismay of the guests. The suspect fled immediately after committing the crime, but research and patrol units of the Tunisian gendarmerie in Bouhajla managed to track him down and arrest him in a short time.
