Rescue Operation on Tunisian Gas Platform

More than thirty people were rescued after several days from a Tunisian gas platform in the Mediterranean Sea.

The rescue operation began after the platform was cut off from its anchors and started drifting due to strong waves and stormy weather. Among the rescued were members of the platform's crew and engineers, as well as workers who were on it at the moment of the accident.

"It was very scary. We are grateful to the rescuers for their operational intervention and saving us," said one of the rescued after getting ashore.

The rescue of the evacuated individuals was successful, despite the challenging weather conditions and high waves that complicated the operation. The rescuers worked to the limits of their capabilities to ensure the safe rescue of everyone on the platform.
