Tunisian national team player Wahbi Khazri announced his retirement from football last night. The 34-year-old Khazri, who played for the French clubs Bordeaux, Saint-Étienne, Montpellier, and Bastia, had been without a club since leaving Montpellier last summer. In an interview with Canal+, Khazri said: "It's time to announce the end of my career. Tunisia is the country that allowed me to participate in the World Cup. He added: "I thank my family, my loved ones, and my teammates who have given me so much. And the clubs that trusted me. It's the end of an era."
