The daily court panel, specializing in terrorism cases in the first instance in Tunisia, adopted a decision to extend the detention of suspects in terrorism cases during the session of the Kurbane-Bairam Law. The court ruled on the extension of the detention based on evidence and arguments presented by the prosecution, convinced of the necessity to continue the inquiry.
The representative of the prosecution emphasized: "The detention of suspects is extended for the continuation of the gathering of witnesses and to conduct further investigatory actions aimed at uncovering all aspects of the criminal offense and bringing all participants to accountability in accordance with the law." The convicted remain in custody until the completion of all legal procedures, and their involvement in the alleged crime is proposed based on the results of further investigation.
